Beginners Yoga Course
I believe that the benefits of a regular Yoga practice are endless - better mobility, improved sleep, increased flexibility, a calmer mind, less reactivity, more ability to be present and more freedom of movement. (And that’s only the beginning)
I also believe that sometimes Yoga can seem very inaccessible - from trying to keep up with the pace of a class to trying to understand words like Pranayama.
It takes a lot of courage to show up to your first class but for many, this is the beginning of a wonderful lifelong journey and practice.
The purpose of this course is to make Yoga accessible to everyone. I have compiled all of the foundations and basics that will leave you with a strong base to start your own Yoga practice or feel comfortable to jump into a class anywhere in the world.
So whether your goal is to improve flexibility, strength, calm a busy mind or enjoy deep relaxation, this is the perfect place to start!


What is involved?
In this course, you will receive instruction on the basic physical foundations of a Yoga practice (hand placement alignment etc.) You will also learn about the core principles that underpin Yogic philosophy.
Each class begins with meditation and breathwork, accompanied by essential oils. The middle section consists of a warmup, main body and cool-down stretches which will incorporate work on stretching, mobility, balance, strength, stability and core work. I always end with 'Savasana' or a relaxation at the end to integrate everything that was done during class and then a short meditation. Students will also learn about meditation, traditional Yogic philosophy and the benefits of relaxation for the mind and nervous system.
A 5 week term is €55
This includes:
Introduction to Yoga, the basic physical movements and philosophy which will progress over the course of five weeks.
Guided meditation
Essential oils
Invigorating Yoga flow which includes a warmup, main body and cool-down incorporating work on stretching, mobility, balance, stability and core.
Savasana (relaxation) with optional adjustments.
